Gary Lockyer's twentieth goal of the season seals victory for the visitors
Sheppey United slipped out of the top five on goal difference as they fell to defeat against Ashford United, the visitors up to ninth. All of the goals arrived in the first half, James Dunne giving the Nuts and Bolts a nineteenth minute lead, Eitel Moumi Goueth quickly equalising, and Gary Lockyer’s goal right before the break eventually sealing victory. That takes Lockyer’s tally for the season up to twenty, and it leaves United six points behind their hosts.
