Another comfortable win sees the Brickies up to third

Sittingbourne, buoyant after their six goal thrashing of Hythe at the weekend, and with one defeat all season, were looking to make it seven unbeaten in all competitions as Herne Bay came to call. The Brickies four goal hero on Saturday was striker Mitchell May, and he opened the scoring in this one, his fifteenth goal of the season, just before the quarter hour mark. The second goal of the game arrived eight minutes into the second half, and it was deja vu for the visitors as May did it again, two-nil.

Was there a way back for Bay, who had won three of their previous four? Perhaps, as they pulled a goal back just before the hour, Michael Salako halving the deficit. The Brickies regained their two goal advantage, however, with seventeen minutes remaining, Ryan Kingsford making it three-one, and then added a fourth through Jack Steventon to take a comfortable victory and move up to third.
