The leaders squeeze home to extend their lead at the top
Leaders Farnham Town, with a seven point advantage at the top, travelled to South London to take on fourth from bottom Sutton Common Rovers. Farnham had won eight of their previous ten matches, with only one defeat, whilst their hosts have won only two of their ten and found themselves two points from safety. Town broke through on nineteen minutes, Adam Liddle with the opener, and that’s where the scoring stopped- but it was enough to send the leaders nine points clear.
