Tilbury got their first league victory of the campaign, coming out on top against Haringey Borough by the odd goal in five. The Dockers went ahead after just six minutes through Lewis Clark, and another Lewis, Manor, made it two twenty one minutes later. Borough saw a spot kick saved in the closing stages of the first half, but four minutes after the break Manny Yeboah gave the visiting fans hope by pulling a goal back. Within two minutes, however, Alex Akrofi made it three-one to the hosts.
Fred Agyemang pulled a goal back for Borough fourteen minutes from time to set up a grandstand finish, but that was that on the scoring front, three-two the final score, Borough still looking for their first point.
