Farnham find their form once more and hit Uxbridge for five
Uxbridge saw an eleven match unbeaten run come to an end with Trophy defeat against Pitching In Southern Premier Chertsey Town last weekend, and as they attempted to start another winning streak couldn’t have had more difficult opponents, leaders Farnham Town making the trip to Honeycroft. After taking one point from two matches, Farnham got back to winning ways at Ashford Town in midweek, and they went ahead in this one, Adam Liddle scoring six minutes before half time, his sixth of the campaign. Liddle must have really enjoyed his goal because he decided to almost immediately do it again, making it two-nil five minutes later. His celebration practice was complete when he made it three-nil with twenty three minutes left, and then the hosts gave their visitors a helping hand they really didn’t need, an own goal making it four-nil- although Farnham believe Liddle got it, and given his form we wouldn’t be surprised. In added time Richie Mbele made it five, and that, finally, was that. Town open up a seven point lead at the top.
