Westfield were our big midweek winners, and they ruined Horndean’s one hundred percent record in the process- and climbed above their visitors into second place. Field opened the scoring at Woking Park on twenty five minutes, Andrew Crossley with their first goal- and within a quarter of an hour had added three more and effectively wrapped up the points, Lui Edwards with his fourth in six matches, Sekou Toure with his third in five and Caleb Wright’s first of the season giving them a four-nil lead at the break. The Deans did pull a goal back twelve minutes from time, Chad Field the scorer, but it was rather too little and rather too late.
