Holden holds onto a clean sheet for the Blues

James Holden has a fine start to life at Billericay Town

Billericay Town made it nine wins from ten with victory at Lewes on Tuesday night- and they had a new man between the sticks, James Holden delighted with a clean sheet on his debut.

James comes in on a dual registration deal from Hemel Hempstead Town.

He played youth football with both Bury and Reading, and came our way for the first time during the 19-20 campaign when he had loan spells (from the latter) at Bognor Regis Town and Bracknell Town.

He then spent loan time at Maidenhead United before a permanent move to Cambridge United, and whilst there had loan spells with Dulwich Hamlet and Welling United, then in National League South. He spent most of last season with Aveley, also in National League South, moved to Hampton & Richmond Borough in the summer, and then moved to Hemel for his second spell with the club.
