Howick in Town

Pitching In Isthmian South East side Steyning Town have announced the signing of Raynes Park Vale defender Danny Howick.

Danny has been with Vale for only a few weeks, after moving from Lancing. He made three appearances. 

Danny joined the Lancers from Bognor Regis Town in January, and played a big part in their successful 23-24, playing sixteen times and ending up on the losing side on only four occasions. Danny was previously the captain of the Bognor youth team and went on to make his full debut in March 2022 aged just seventeen, when he played the entire ninety minutes in a draw on the road at Corinthian-Casuals. He went on to make nine appearances as that campaign came to a close, and another twenty five during the 22-23 season, scoring his first Rocks goal in a four-nil thumping of Bowers and Pitsea. He played twelve more times last season, and scored another goal- in defeat against Whitehawk in mid October.
