A Whitehawk debut for keeper Will Huffer
Whitehawk gave a debut to goalkeeper Will Huffer in defeat against Cheshunt on Saturday.
Will has spent some time with Burgess Hill Town of late, playing four times. Last season he was with Carshalton Athletic, playing sixteen times- and even picking up our Golden Gloves Award on one occasion.
Will came through the ranks at Leeds United, playing once for the first team and having a loan spell at Barnet. A spell at Bradford City followed, and since then Will has played for AFC Telford United, Stalybridge Celtic and then had a first spell with the Hillians. He made fifteen appearances during the 21-22 campaign, and another twenty seven during 22-23.
He played for England at Under 17 level.
