Huzzey out at the Jammers
Maldon & Tiptree announce the departure of boss David Huzzey
Maldon and Tiptree have announced the departure of Dave Huzzey, who has been in charge since the summer.
Dave previously held varied coaching roles at Colchester United, and on two occasions acted as Assistant Manager for the League Two club. He was previously a youth, Under 18 and Under 21 coach at Southend United, and- of course- was Assistant boss at the Jammers, too.
He leaves the Jammers in nineteenth place, after a run of five consecutive defeats- and indeed eight defeats, with one win, from nine matches.
A club statement, released via social media, explained:
'Maldon & Tiptree FC can confirm we have parted ways with first-team manager David Huzzey. We thank David for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future. The club will begin the search for a new manager immediately.'
