Isthmian Premier Supporters Predictions- Final Table

Isthmian Premier Supporters Predictions- Final Table

You’ve been reading their predictions- now here’s their final verdict!

For the last month you’ve been reading the reviews, previews and predictions of many of our supporters, across all four of our Divisions. You’ve also been seeing their predicted top fives, but what you may not have been aware- if you’re new to the Pitching In Isthmian League, particularly- is that each of our participants picks not only the top five but an entire one to twenty two for their chosen Division. We take those predictions, add them all together, and then, just before the big kick off, produce a predicted league table for each Division- and often it ends up printed out and stuck on a dressing room wall before three o’clock this afternoon (yes, we’ve seen the photographic evidence!).

We’re going to start with our Premier Division. This is what you think it will look like at the end of the season:

Chatham Town

Billericay Town

Dartford

Horsham

Dulwich Hamlet

Hastings United

Dover Athletic

Folkestone Invicta

Bognor Regis Town

Lewes

Hendon

Wingate & Finchley

Carshalton Athletic

Hashtag United

Whitehawk

Cray Wanderers

Cray Valley PM

Canvey Island

Cheshunt

Potters Bar Town

Bowers and Pitsea

Chichester City

You were absolutely convinced that the Chats would go one better this season and actually earn the promotion that eluded them in May. Billericay Town and Dartford you believe will have a close tussle for that runners up spot, and you expect that the top five will be completed with the additions of Horsham and Dulwich Hamlet- and if your predictions are correct, there will be rather a long gap between those five and sixth place Hastings United.

At the other end, sadly, you were entirely sure that Chichester City and Bowers & Pitsea will struggle to adapt following their promotion, and that we’ll then have a three way struggle to avoid the last two drop spots- The Scholars, Ambers and Gulls will join Bowers and City in a desperate fight to prove you wrong!

We’d like to thank all those who have taken part- a record number this year. We’ll have announcements about your favourite ground and your favourite food on Monday.

Now, time to stop guessing, and to start enjoying some actual football!
