Isthmian Supporters Predictions 24-25: Kingstonian

Ollie Underwood hopes for a positive K’s campaign

We asked supporters of our Pitching In Isthmian League clubs to preview the new season, reflect on the old and predict the final outcome. Their predicted 1-22 will be worked into a final table which you will see just before the big kick off.

Ollie takes a dive into the world of Kingstonian

  1. Thinking about last season, what were your highlights?

Having done all 56 Ks games there were very few highlights. Cray, Folkestone, Dulwich, Bognor at home and Farnham in the Surrey Senior Cup (we lost, unsurprisingly,  but it was a good night out)

2. And what was the worst moment?

Potters Bar Town away, 4-0 down after 32min. The only two positives were we scored and it was free entry for Non League Day. Thank you Potters Bar!

3. Which member of your squad was your Player of the Season - and why?

Eddie Dsane or Sam German (who’s at Dulwich Hamlet now). Dsane because he scored 24 goals (sadly it wasn’t enough)- and German was brilliant at the back when he joined on loan.

It would be rude not to mention Tolfs (Rob Tolfrey, K’s record appearance holder). It’s a shame his Ks career ended like it did with a disastrous season. We know it’s not his fault. Good luck at Merstham.

4. Moving on to your current squad- which players do you think will make a big impact during the 24-25 campaign?

Too be honest after last season mess I switched off from football for a while, so I’m trying to learn who’s who- but perhaps Francis, Simons, Wilson, Liddle and Flatley!

5. Realistically, how do you think you’ll do this season?

Play offs- but it’s a tough league so who knows?

6. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?

All the new ones for me- Ascot, Badshot Lea, Binfield, Horndean, Moneyfields, Southall AND Guernsey!

7. What is your favourite Isthmian away ground?

Cray Wanderers- at Bromley! This season, perhaps Leatherhead and Farnham Town.

8. If you regularly travelled away, which ground served the best food?

Cray Wanderers (Bromley) or Lewes

9. Who do you think will finish in the top five?

Farnham Town, Leatherhead, Raynes Park Vale, Kingstonian, Westfield

Thank you- now, who’s next? If you’d like to represent your club please send an email to Ian at [email protected] and we’ll send you the questions.
