Jaggs, Mbonkwi and Sassi are new Beachboys
Simo Mbonkwi, Amine Sassi and Lewis Jaggs announced by Concord Rangers
Concord Rangers yesterday announced that they had signed Simo Mbonkwi, Amine Sassi and Lewis Jaggs- although each of that trio has already played a number of matches for the club.
Simo ended last season with Rangers, where he made twenty eight appearances and scored three goals. He was announced as a new arrival at Cheshunt last month but doesn't seem to have played for the Ambers.
The midfielder was previously with South East side Sittingbourne, where he made eleven appearances during the closing months of the 22-23 campaign. He also played for Braintree Town, and also played at National League level for Hungerford Town and Eastbourne Borough. He previously spent some time playing in Norway, and in his native Belgium- but he did have previous Isthmian experience, as he spent a little while with Bedfont Sports during the 2018-19 season, playing twenty seven times and scoring three goals- and at the tail end of the 21-22 season turned out briefly for Folkestone Invicta, making five appearances.
Winger Amine Sassi has already spent time at the Beachboys, playing thirteen times last season, with two goals.
He was with Potters Bar Town during the 21-22 season, playing twenty three times, and he spent some time with Kingstonian during 22-23, making three appearances.
Lewis Jaggs has picked up the armband, and he also wore it for Maldon and Tiptree last season, playing thirty eight times. That followed fourteen appearances during the prior campaign. The midfielder was previously with Tilbury, and in between the Dockers and Jammers he turned out for Great Wakering Rovers.
