Keeper Wright for the Chats

Chatham Town gave a debut to former Hornchurch title wining keeper Joe Wright in Saturday's defeat against Canvey Island.

Joe, who won our uhlsport Premier Golden Gloves Award three times last season, made one hundred and seventy seven appearances during five seasons with the Urchins, and of course as well as that title last season previously won the FA Trophy at Wembley, as well as helping his side to two Play off Finals. 

Prior to his time at Hornchurch he played for Enfield Town, winning our Velocity Cup in 2018-19 and playing an incredible fifty five times during 2017-18, and prior to that he had two spells at Bishop's Stortford and played for Billericay Town, Hendon and Welling United. He came through the youth setup at Queens Park Rangers.
