Former Crystal Palace man takes over at AFC Croydon Athletic
Croydon Athletic have announced the appointment of Keith Millen as their new manager.
Keith has a great deal of managerial experience considerably higher up the pyramid. As well as spells as manager at Bristol City and Carlisle United, he was three times caretaker manager at Crystal Palace during five years at the club, and also had two caretaker spells before first stepping into the top job at Ashton Gate. He also spent time in caretaker charge of Gillingham whilst running the club Academy, and a spell as Caretaker Manager whilst Assistant Manager at MK Dons.
As a player, he made more than three hundred appearances for Brentford, one hundred and sixty five times for Watford under legendary manager Graham Taylor winning two promotions, and sixty times for Bristol City before becoming Under 17's manager, and then Assistant Manager.
