K's boss Harris- and his Assistant- depart
Kingstonian manager Scott Harris- and Assistant Martyn Lee- depart the club
Kingstonian have announced the departure of manager Scott Harris, and his Assistant Martyn Lee.
Scott joined the club just after the 23-24 campaign ended. Previously he was the manager of Walton & Hersham- with whom he won three promotions in a row. Since his arrival he has brought a large number of former Swans into his K's side, and they sit in third place in Pitching In Isthmian South Central.
The K's released a statement yesterday in which Chairman Yioryos Vasilaras blamed some of the clubs supporters for the Harris' departure, explaining: 'Scott's decision is solely based on the fact that he's not enjoying football and specifically managing our football club in the current toxic environment created by a segment of our supporters.'
The statement then quotes the departing manager as follows:
"I am writing to announce my resignation from Kingstonian FC. A number of factors around the club have led me to the belief that it's for the best that we part ways. I would like to state my gratitude to Yioryos and his board members for the opportunity. I want to underline that this decision is not based around money or any broken promises on his part. I genuinely wish Yioryos, Jim, John and Ben the best for the future. Finally, thanks to the players and staff. I love you all."

Martyn Lee later announced his departure as Assistant Manager. Dean Thomas will manage the side against Hayes and Yeading United today.
