Lee and Sotoyinbo of the Jammers
Forwards Josh Lee and Olly Sotoyinbo are the latest Maldon and Tiptree arrivals
Prior to Saturday's fixtures, Maldon and Tiptree strengthened their forward line with the signings of Josh Lee from Newmarket Town and Olly Sotoyinbo from Raynes Park Vale.
Josh was a big part of the Jockeys squad which won promotion to our level, scoring twenty goals last season. He joined the club from Mildenhall Town, where he scored five goals from thirty six appearances during 22-23, and was previously with Haverhill Rovers.
He's had a positive start to his Isthmian career, scoring nine goals in twenty two appearances- including a winner against his new club in September.
Olly ended last season with a Pitching In Isthmian North Play Off victory with Bowers and Pitsea, and joined Vale in the summer. He has made seventeen appearances and scored four goals.
Olly joined Bowers just before the transfer deadline day deadline in March, and ended the season by making seven appearances as his side won promotion. He moved to the Len Salmon from Walthamstow, where he scored ten goals in his twenty two matches.
He ended the 22-23 season at Chatham Town, where he made six appearances, scoring once, after moving to Kent from Stowmarket Town, where he had scored eight goals in thirteen. Ollie started the 22-23 campaign with Brightlingsea Regent, who he played for twelve times with two goals.
He started his career in Sussex, where he played for Hastings United, Eastbourne United and Haywards Heath Town, and he has also spent time with Leatherhead and Hullbridge Sports before a first spell at Walthamstow, helping them to the Essex Senior League title. Prior to his time with Regent he was with Welling Town.
