Maguire-Drew and Kamavuako are new Robins

A new Carshalton double-act, as Gabriel Kamavuako and Jordan Maguire-Drew debut in Darts defeat

Carshalton Athletic strengthened their squad prior to their match with Dartford at the weekend, Gabriel Kamavuako emerging from the bench and Jordan Maguire-Drew starting the match.

Jordan is a player we know well. The midfielder came through the ranks at Brighton and Hove Albion, and you might remember him lighting up our South Division- as it then was- on loan at Worthing as they won promotion. He spent 2016-17 on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge and was once more a big success, which led to loan spells at Lincoln City, Coventry City and Wrexham, before two seasons with Leyton Orient.

He has since played for Grimsby Town, Yeovil Town, Barnet and Weymouth, before ending the 24-25 season at Whitehawk, where he played eleven times and scored three goals. He joined Lewes in the summer of 2025, and also had a loan spell at Chichester City last season, as well as a spell at East Grinstead Town.

Gabriel, who can play as a full back or a winger, first played in his native Denmark for Holbaek B&I, before being signed by Portsmouth, where he played for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides. He spent time with Baffins Milton Rovers in the Wessex League before first coming our way with Bowers and Pitsea, playing four times. He has more recently been playing in Dubai, for Al Qabila- who are these days known as Palm City FC.
