Manly of Maldon

Maldon and Tiptree borrowed Jack Manly on Saturday against Concord Rangers, gave him his debut from the bench, and six minutes into added time he earned them a point with a last-gasp equaliser.

Midfielder Jack came through the ranks at Ipswich Town, and he played Under 18 and Under 21 football for the Tractor Boys as well as making a debut in the EFL Trophy aged just sixteen, signing a three year professional contract in 2021. He also had a loan spell at Pitching In Southern Premier side Leiston, and then, after leaving Portman Road in the summer, signed for Leiston permanently.

We don't know how long his loan is scheduled to last, as the Jammers simply called it ‘short-term’- but it couldn't have had a better start.
