Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Chatham Town have announced the signing of defender Maxwell Statham, who comes in on loan from National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town. Max debuted against Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday, playing the first seventy four minutes of a three-one victory. 

Max joined the Tudors in the summer, making the move from Dartford, where he had spent the previous two seasons. He came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur, playing for the Under 18 and Under 23 sides, and moved on to be an Under 23 at Watford before heading to Kent and Welling United. It is possible, however, that you might remember him from a short spell at Hornchurch during the 21-22 campaign, when he played eight times before that move to the Wings.
