Mel Gwinnett is the new manager of Cheshunt
Cheshunt have announced the appointment of Mel Gwinnett as their new manager.
Mel, a goalkeeper in his early career, first worked as a goalkeeping coach at Exeter City and MK Dons before moving on to be Assistant Manager at Stevenage and Barnet. More recently he spent a year and a half as manager at National League South side Hampton and Richmond Borough. He left the Beavers in the summer, and has since spent some time at Oxford City.
As a player, he played for Stourbridge before being spotted by Peterborough United. After time at the Posh he moved on briefly to Hereford United, Gloucester City and Bradford City. He then spent three years with Exeter City, before spells with Yeovil Town and Weymouth.
