Millers march on in six goal Velocity thriller

Millers march on in six goal Velocity thriller

Sevenoaks Town fought hard, but Cray Valley’s Premier quality eventually shone through

The Velocity Cup Third Round last night saw Sevenoaks Town welcome Cray Valley PM.

Oaks, who have had an up and down sort of season, looked to be on the up, three matches unbeaten against high performing opposition, but they fell behind against Premier Division opponents after just two minutes, Adam Coombes with the opener, a free kick that just may have been a cross evading everyone. That sparked a speedy fightback from the hosts, however, and they were level just six minutes later via a Josh Wisson free kick, and on nineteen minutes went ahead, Gael Kileba heading home his third of the season. The Millers drew level just after the half hour, Michael Ademiluyi with his first of the campaign, and by half time they were ahead once more, Julien Anau rounding off a thrill-packed first half with the fifth goal of the game.

Despite the hosts best efforts, victory was finally confirmed twelve minutes from time when Andre Coker popped up to score a fourth, and send the Millers marching on- and five unbeaten.
