Mongoy and Fernandes are new for the Chats
Jordy Mongoy and Valckx Fernandes are the latest signings for Chatham Town
Chatham Town have strengthened their squad with two new arrivals.
Valckx Fernandes started this season at Bowers and Pitsea, making seven appearances and scoring two goals. It was his second spell at Bowers, where he also spent the 22-23 campaign, playing twenty nine times.
He spent last season at Potters Bar Town, playing forty three times and scoring three goals.
Prior to his first Bowers spell he spent some time in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier with Leatherhead, after signing from Tilbury. He made nine appearances for the Dockers during the 21-22 season, two for the Tanners, and then went on to play nineteen times for Basildon United.
Jordy Mongoy, a midfielder, ended last season at Hastings United, playing ten times. He moved there from Billericay Town, where he had played four times- his second spell with the club, as he was also there during the 2018-19 campaign, when the Blues were in National League South. This season has seen him with Hemel Hempstead Town.
In between his two blue periods, he played for Lewes and Bognor Regis Town. The last of those was on the Sussex coast, and he played for Bognor during the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons, the latter seeing him play thirty one times and score eleven goals. He was with Lewes during 2019-20, making twenty five appearances and scoring four times, and he has also had short previous Sussex spells with Hastings and East Grinstead Town, and a brief period with Bishop's Stortford.
Earlier in his career he played youth and first team football with Dagenham and Redbridge, and he has also spent time with Walton Casuals, Hemel Hempstead Town, Wealdstone and Farnborough, before taking his talents up to the north east, where he played for Spennymoor Town and South Shields.
