More Lancers
Tyrese Sutherland and Jack Langford add to Lancing's firepower
Lancing brought in two new arrivals last week, both adding to their attacking options.
Forward Tyrese Sutherland spent last season banging them in for Redhill in the Combined Counties Premier- and Ashford Town will perhaps remember him, as he scored the goal which saw them depart the FA Cup last August. He then played his part as the Lobsters knocked Herne Bay out of the competition in the next round, before they eventually found themselves boiled by Whitehawk. He got fourteen goals in his forty one appearances last season, according to the FA website.
He previously played for AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Dorking Wanderers Under 23 side, London Tigers and Sutton Common Rovers, for whom he made twelve appearances during 22-23.
Another forward, Jack Langford, has played for the Lancers previously, and has also turned out for Eastbourne Town, Haywards Heath Town, Littlehampton Town, Newhaven and Saltdean United. He won the SCFL Premier Division Golden Boot for his performances during the 22-23 campaign with Steyning Town, and midway through last season spent some time with Peacehaven and Telscombe United before taking some time away from the game.
