Sam Mulready makes a Mildenhall Town debut

Mildenhall Town had a new face on the bench as they triumphed at Walthamstow on Saturday, after forward Sam Mulready joined the club. He emerged five minutes from time to make a brief debut.

You might remember Sam from his periods with Soham Town Rangers and Dereham Town when they were Isthmian clubs. Sam particularly made a mark here with Rangers. In 2017-18 he managed nine goals in only fifteen matches, and he continued in a similar fashion after that, with twenty three in 2018-19 and eighteen in 2019-20, along with a large number of assists. He was with Dereham for a relatively short time before returning to Rangers, and last season saw him play twenty eight times and score seven goals.

More recently he has been with Deeping Rangers.

Prior to his time in Soham, Sam started life with Grimsby Town. He also spent a few years with Kings Lynn Town, and also played for St Neots Town, Corby Town, Gainsborough and Boston United.
