Napa moves to Maldon
Malachi Napa heads North once more
After less than a month in Ramsgate, Pitching In Isthmian North scoring sensation Malachi Napa has returned to the North Division, signing for title-chasing Maldon and Tiptree.
Malachi, supposedly a midfielder (!), played youth football with Reading and Oxford United before breaking through to the United first team. Loan spells at North Leigh, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Macclesfield Town and Woking followed, and after spending some time permanently with the Cards he came our way, signing on at Maldon & Tiptree. He made fifteen Jammers appearances and weighed in with five goals before stepping up to join Wealdstone, and also had a loan spell at Dartford before joining Billericay Town in the summer of 2023.
He played nine times for the Blues before heading to Redbridge, where he managed eleven goals in thirty two appearances last season. This season has seen him score twenty six times in thirty seven matches, including two hat tricks, and he headed the enormous distance to the Kent coast last month.
His rather brief time with Ramsgate has ended after five appearances.
