Newton and Bennison are new in blue

Zack Newton returns to Wingate and Finchley, and Remy-Lee Bennison arrives with him
Wingate and Finchley have announced two new arrivals- although one of them is not so new!
Forward (and occasional full back) Zack Newton came to prominence at Worthing, spending time a level higher at Welling United after leaving Woodside Road, only to return to the club. He went on to play for Met Police and Horsham before a move to Cheshunt, scored the goal that won them promotion against Hornchurch in the 21-22 Play Off Final, and spent the 22-23 season with the Ambers in National League South.
He moved on to Wingate & Finchley for 23-24, playing thirty four times with seven goals as the Blues reached the Pitching In Isthmian Premier Play Off Semi-Finals, and last season played another forty two times with three goals. He started this season at Hayes and Yeading United, playing four times.
Remy-Lee Bennison came through the Academy at Brentford. He was previously with Langley in the Combined Counties League, and last season spent time with Southall this season, making nineteen appearances and scoring two goals, before a move to Rayners Lane, where he played a dozen times and scored three goals. He moved on to Bromley in the summer, playing for the B team at Hayes Lane, and has also spent time at Basingstoke Town this season.
