Okonkwo returns to the Len Salmon

Bowers and Pitsea have announced the return to the club of defender Geoffrey Okonkwo. Geoffrey moved to the Len Salmon from Grays in July 2023, and became an enormous part of their promotion success last season, playing thirty seven times, scoring three goals, and generally being a colossus at the back!  

Geoffrey was initially a reserve player with Athletic, graduating to the first team during the 2017-18 campaign before moving on to Greenwich Borough. He moved on to Cray Wanderers after leaving Borough, and then played for Staines Town and VCD Athletic. A step up to National League South with Braintree Town followed, before a return to Grays for the 21-22 campaign, playing forty times and contributing four goals. He delivered another twenty three appearances for Athletic during the 22-23 season.

He returns to the Len Salmon on a dual registration deal from Chelmsford City.
