O'Toole and Kayani return to the Hawks
Rob O'Toole and Imran Kayani return to Whitehawk
Whitehawk boss Shaun Saunders has continued to put his old band back together, with the return to the club of Rob O'Toole and Imran Kayani.
Forward Rob has most recently been with Littlehampton Town, where he has played twenty one times and scored six goals. He ended last season at Whitehawk, making twenty four appearances after returning to the club in December from Burgess Hill Town.
He won promotion with the Hawks at the end of the 22-23 campaign, after joining them from Horsham- where he had spent the majority of the previous five years, scoring the goal which won the Hornets promotion from our South Division with a Play Off victory over Ashford United at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
Promotion is something of an O'Toole speciality. As well as being promoted with the Hornets and the Hawks, in the five seasons leading up to his move to Horsham he won promotion every year, with Peacehaven & Telscombe, East Preston, Burgess Hill Town, Haywards Heath Town and Shoreham.
Imran has most recently been with Westfield in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, playing eight times and scoring twice. The forward moved to Woking Park from Premier Division side Cray Wanderers, moving there from the Hawks. He played thirteen times for Wands.
He has also played four times for Whitehawk earlier this season, and was a big success last season after joining the club from Dover Athletic, making forty two appearances and scoring fourteen goals, including a hat trick in a four-one win at Kingstonian.
Imran came through the ranks at Sutton United, and whilst at Gander Green Lane first came our way in a loan spell with Bedfont Sports. He went on to play for Slough Town, and whilst there had a number of loan spells, at Kings Langley, Hartley Wintney, Kingstonian and Hanwell Town, before that move to Dover.
He first joined the Hawks in September last year. He plays international football for Pakistan.
