Pitching In Isthmian South Central Supporters Predictions 26-27— Final Table
You’ve been reading their predictions- now here’s their final verdict!
For a few weeks you’ve been reading the reviews, previews and predictions of many of our supporters, across all four of our Divisions. You’ve also been seeing their predicted top fives, but what you may not have been aware of- if you’re new to the Pitching In Isthmian League, particularly- is that each of our participants picks not only the top five but an entire one to twenty two for their chosen Division. We take those predictions, add them all together, and then produce a predicted league table for each Division- and often it ends up printed out and stuck on a dressing room wall before three o’clock on a Saturday afternoon (yes, we’ve seen the photographic evidence!). Because of last weekend’s FA Cup action, we’ve held over Step Four until this week.
Next up we have our South Central Division. This is what you think it will look like at the end of the season:

You decided that AFC Portchester, fifth last season, would take the title by the slimmest of margins from Hayes & Yeading United, who look to have recruited rather well in the summer. Westfield will once again qualify for the Play Offs, and newcomers Jersey Bulls will make it two Isthmian Play Off campaigns in a row. Bognor Regis Town, Winchester City and Southall will make up the top seven, with Moneyfields and Kingstonian just missing out on the end of season party.
At the wrong end of the table you were convinced that Littlehampton Town’s recent reprieve would save them for only one more season, and that Binfield wouldn’t be able to manage another of the great escapes that they have become famous for. Bedfont Sports and Harrow Borough join that duo in the bottom four, with Egham Town just managing to stay the right side of the relegation line.
