Re for the Scholars

Potters Bar Town have announced the signing of midfielder Joe Re, who you will undoubtedly remember from his years down the road at Cheshunt.

Joe came through the youth ranks at Nottingham Forest and then gave up his professional football aspirations for a change of career, which he combined with appearing for the Ambers. He played thirty times during 2018-19 and was one of the driving forces behind their South Central Play Off victory, and then went on to take the Premier Division by storm, making thirty six appearances before 19-20 fell over, another fifteen before 20-21 went the same way, and an incredible fifty eight- with five goals- as Cheshunt won promotion via the Play Offs during 21-22. He went on to play for the Ambers in National League South, and more recently has remained at that level with Hemel Hempstead Town.
