Sam Ashton makes a Hoirndean move
Horndean have announced the signing of striker Sam Ashton, who moves on loan from Bracknell Town.
Sam started his career at Havant and Waterlooville, before heading to the USA to play and study. Whilst Stateside he turned out for Concord University, Memphis Tigers and West Virginia United before spending some time in Copenhagen, Denmark, with Husum Boldklub.
Upon his return to the Uk he played for Salisbury, Hayes and Yeading United, Winchester City, and signed for Bracknell earlier this season. Lewes fans may remember him, as he scored twice against their side in an FA Trophy match in October- although the Rooks still won that one, six-three.
