Saints go Dutch with Turner

St Albans City gave a debut- from the bench- to Darcy Turner in their Cup draw with Hashtag United on Saturday.

Darcy has learned his trade in some of the top Dutch Academies. He played for Ajax as a youth and Under 17 player, and then spent time with Utrecht as an Under 18, before moving to the oldest club in the Netherlands, Koninklijke HFC, who are based in beautiful Haarlem, where he played for the Under 21 side.

He has spent the last couple of years with Go Ahead Eagles, playing for the Under 21 side in the city of Deventer.
