Salter takes the top job at Regent
Ryan Salter is the new Brightlingsea Regent boss
Brightlingsea Regent have announced that their manager search is over almost as quickly as it started, with Ryan Salter replacing Brett Munyard as manager.
Ryan is something of a Regent legend, winning numerous promotions as a player with the club and also spending a long time as both Assistant Manager and Caretaker Manager. He returned to North Road in February as Assistant Manager to Munyard, departing FC Clacton, where he was the manager, to take the role.
A club statement also explains:
'Ryan has assembled his staff, by adding Pip Boyland as his Assistant. Pip is another familiar face around North Road, having made 66 appearances on the pitch, and been in the dugout 161 times under 3 different managers.
We are also pleased to say that Physio, Brian Swift and Goalkeeper Coach, Mark Edwards will continue in their roles.'
