Scholar Samrai heads to Cambridge

Cambridge City announced the signing of winger Samrai Gebrai just prior to their FA Trophy fixture against Kings Langley on Sunday. 

Samrai has played three times for Potters Bar Town this season, and that followed twenty seven appearances- and two goals- for the Scholars last season. 

Prior to heading to Potters Bar Samrai made five appearances for Enfield last season, scoring in victories over Grays Athletic and New Salamis. He first came to prominence with Walthamstow, his form earning him a move to Canvey Island for the start of the 2019-20 campaign. He made seven appearances for the Gulls, moved back to Walthamstow, and then signed for Pitching In Southern Premier side Hendon. He moved on to the E's, helped them to promotion, and picked up the Young Player of the Year Award in 22-23.
