Sittingbourne Samuels and Velasquez

Junior Velasquez and Joshua Samuels arrive at Woodstock Park

Sittingbourne have announced two more new arrivals, Junior Velasquez and Joshua Samuels joining the Brickies squad.

Centre back Junior makes a move from top flight promotion chasers Enfield Town, where he has played five times this season.

Earlier in his career Junior played for Woodford Town before making the step up to Sutton United, where he played for the reserve side. If Transfer Markt is correct, he somehow ended up leaving United for Venezuela, playing for Caracas, and then had time in Portugal with Farense in the Algarve before returning to our shores and becoming a Brentwood blue. He spent time in the successful Under 21 side before stepping up to the first team squad, and played eight times during the last six weeks of the 22-23 season. He spent time at Billericay Town before moving to Basildon United,

Since leaving the Bees he has played in Armenia for FC Syunik, and for NK Jarun Zagreb and in the same city for NK HASK Zagreb. both- of course- in Croatia.

Joshua, a winger, previously played for Romford, Haringey Borough and Westfield, playing a couple of times at Woking Park during 22-23, before moving to Buckhurst Hill. He then spent some time with Canvey Island before heading to Gibraltar with Glacis United. More recently he has been playing in Wales for Bala Town.
