Jordan Southgate takes the tiller at Wroxham once more

On Saturday Pitching In Isthmian North side Wroxham announced the departure of manager Matt Halliday, and within a few hours they announced a rather familiar replacement, with the return of former boss Jordan Southgate, who only left the club in August to become Assistant Manager at Lowestoft Town.

Things haven't gone particularly well this season, and Halliday departed on Saturday with his charges second from bottom of the table- although only three points from safety. Southgate, who departed the Trawler Boys on October 23rd, previously oversaw Wroxham's promotion back to the Isthmian League, and some fine results as they established themselves at our level.

Chair James Blower stated:

'I’m delighted to welcome Jordan back to the Club. Jordan was incredibly successful here and I have every confidence he will restore this team to where it should be. It’s obviously been a difficult 24 hours and it was important to move quickly and it is essential we are all focused on moving forward now.

We have a tough game against Felixstowe on Tuesday where we shall also have ESPN, who are an American sports channel owned by Disney, filming in response to the documentary.'
