Striker Evans arrives at the K's

Sam Evans swaps Farnham for Kingstonian- for an undisclosed fee

Kingstonian have brought in striker Sam Evans from National League side Farnham Town, and he made a scoring debut in defeat at Hayes and Yeading United on Saturday.

Sam has played a big part in Farnham's recent success, and has scored twice at Step Two this season. That followed fourteen goals in forty four appearances last season as the club won promotion from Pitching In Southern Premier South, and two goals in four matches when they were with us during 24-25- they brought him in from Slough Town.

You might also remember Sam from his time with Bedfont Sports a few years ago, when he managed sixteen goals in thirty five matches- some going when playing for a club which got relegated. Sports immediately announced his departure to newly promoted Hanwell Town, and he scored another sixteen and assisted a further eight for the Geordies last season, before stepping up to Slough in the summer of 2024. He has played thirty two times at Arbour Park during 24-25, and scored six goals.

Prior to his time at Sports, Sam came through the youth setup at Woking, spent time in the first team setup, and also had a loan spell across the road at our very own Westfield, scoring eight goals in thirty one appearances- most of which were played in an attacking midfield role.
