Supporters Predictions 24-25: Bury Town
Armandas Adomelis tells us to hurry to Bury!
We asked supporters of our Pitching In Isthmian League clubs to preview the new season, reflect on the old and predict the final outcome. Their predicted 1-22 will be worked into a final table which you will see just before the big kick off.
Armandas gives us his- rather brief- views on the world of Bury Town
- Thinking about last season, what were your highlights?
My highlight of last season was the 6-0 win at home against Enfield which put us at second place in the division- ensuring we were at home for the Play Off Semi-Final.
2. And what was the worst moment?
My worst moment was the 6-2 loss at home to Basildon United. We scored first and then conceded 6.
3. Which member of your squad was your Player of the Season - and why?
Cemal Ramadan, as he was our top scorer and very consistent throughout the season. Indeed, he was scoring for fun.
4. Moving on to your current squad- which players do you think will make a big impact during the 24-25 campaign?
The four players who I think will have a big impact on the squad this season are Mikey Davis, Cemal Ramadan, Tom Thulborn and Ed Upson.
5. Realistically, how do you think you’ll do this season?
I think Bury Town will finish 3rd this season.
6. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?
I’m looking forward to going to the Newmarket Town game. They are very local to us and a newly promoted side.
7. What is your favourite Isthmian away ground?
Felixstowe and Walton United.
8. If you regularly travelled away, which ground served the best food?
Newmarket Town have an excellent selection of food. You can even get an ice cream there, which is something I don’t see that often at other grounds.
9. Who do you think will finish in the top five?
Felixstowe & Walton Utd, Brentwood Town, Bury Town, Concord Rangers, Haringey Borough
