Swifts Bowman

Pitching In Isthmian North side Heybridge Swifts last night announced the signing of forward Vinnie Bowman.

You might remember Vinnie from his time at Margate. He played first for the Under 16 side at Hartsdown Park, then quickly progressed to the Under 18's, Under 23's and then the first team despite being still only seventeen years old. He played sixteen times for the Blues in our Premier Division last season, scoring four goals, and has played three more times this season, but has recently been rather busy elsewhere, having trials with West Ham United and Millwall. He may get to make a Swifts debut as they host Concord Rangers on Saturday.
