Pitching In Isthmian North side Ipswich Wanderers have announced the signing of Patrick Brothers, who comes in on a loan deal from Needham Market.

The midfielder spent many years with his ‘new’ manager Glen Driver at Leiston, winning titles, promotions and reaching our Premier Play Off Semi-Final in 2017-18, falling to a narrow defeat to eventually-promoted Dulwich Hamlet at Imperial Fields. He was in Blue for nine years. 

He moved on to Needham Market for the 21-22 campaign, and was playing a major role until suffering a terrible injury in March 2023, breaking his leg and his ankle in a match against Nuneaton Borough. 

Prior to his time with Leiston he played for Brantham Athletic, and he spent another spell at Athletic in between leaving the Blues and joining the Marketmen.
