Thomas and Garzon new as Bowers crush Hamlet

Bowers and Pitsea had two new names in their squad on Saturday as they hammered Dulwich Hamlet, with the arrivals of Donnell Thomas and Brian Garzon.

Midfielder Donnell has been our way before. A former Colchester United youth player who spent time in the first team squad, he- of course- spent time on loan at Maldon & Tiptree, although he played only once, scoring in an eight-one Velocity Cup win over local rivals Heybridge Swifts. He also had a loan spell at Bishop's Stortford whilst they were still with us, making thirty appearances and scoring three goals as the Blues won our title in 22-23. He left Colchester in the summer.

Brian, also a midfielder, has been with Wingate and Finchley since the summer, making two appearances. He was previously a Southend United youth, and more recently played for Hertford Town (where he was rather prolific in front of goal), but you might remember him playing for Walton and Hersham as they progressed towards Pitching In Isthmian South Central promotion a couple of years ago. where he made eight appearances and scored two goals.
