Thorpe the Shot is in the Moneys

As we headed towards our Boxing Day fixtures, Moneyfields announced the signing of Aldershot Town midfielder Harry Thorpe on loan.

Harry has already spent time in Pitching In Isthmian South Central this season, but only briefly. He played once for Hayes and Yeading United, however, in a three-one win over Sutton Common Rovers on opening day. He has also had loan time at Thatcham Town, these days in Pitching In Southern Division One, and indeed has made thirteen appearances.

He joined the Shots in the summer of 2023, moving down from Grimsby Town, and has been a big success with the Under 21 and B teams, delivering 13 goals and 18 assists last season.
