Three Blues

Lee Noble, Toby Stevenson and Tom Anderson are the latest Brentwood Town arrivals

Brentwood Town announced a number of impressive signings prior to Saturday's opening day win over Redbridge.

Midfielder Lee Noble made thirty one appearances for Heybridge Swifts last season, and scored twice- including the winner against…Brentwood Town! That followed forty three appearances the previous campaign, when Swifts reached the Play Off Final. He was previously with Tilbury, and prior to his time with the Dockers he was a Dartford legend, a veteran of almost 12 years at Princes Park- during which he made almost five hundred appearances at National League and National League South level. He was also at Brentwood as a youth player.

Toby Stevenson only recently signed for Chatham Town. Toby, a full back, was previously with Margate, who he joined from Braintree Town in February. He made fourteen appearances as Gate ultimately failed to hold onto their Premier Division status.

He came through the ranks at Leyton Orient, but first came to our attention when he was loaned to Heybridge Swifts. He was a crucial part of the Swifts side which reached the Second Round of the FA Trophy during the 17-18 campaign, and played a role in their giant killing exploits against Kingstonian and Hampton & Richmond Borough. He left Orient and joined Charlton Athletic, where he made the first team squad and played a handful of times, before moving on loan to Dagenham and Redbridge. Watford was his next port of call, and he then moved to Bromley, where he had loan spells at Braintree Town and Billericay Town. He remained with Billericay during the 22-23 campaign, and made forty five appearances.

Tom Anderson is something of a legend at Hashtag United, making thirty four appearances last season as they established themselves in our Premier Division and reached the Velocity Cup Final. That followed another thirty four appearances as they charged to the North Division title the season before, and seven at the end of the 21-22 season as he returned to the club for a second spell following some time at Great Wakering Rovers. Tom was previously with Aveley, and has also played for East Thurrock United, Basildon United and Tilbury.
