Three for the Lane

Antonio Dembele, Chama Torsiello and Quentin Monville are new at Rayners Lane

Rayners Lane announced three new signings prior to Saturday's win at Hanworth Villa- with Antonio Dembele, Chama Torsiello and Quentin Monville joining the club- although only the latter took part.

Quentin spent last season at Pitching In Isthmian League champions Hornchurch, and the full back played twenty nine times as the Urchins swept all before them.

He spent 22-23 with Potters Bar Town, and played thirty six times with six goals before transferring to then National League South side Concord Rangers. He made forty five appearances for Bowers & Pitsea during the 21-22 campaign, scoring three times- including a memorable goal ten minutes from time which earned his side victory over National League Aldershot Town in the FA Cup. He went on to play in the narrow First Round defeat against Lincoln City, and also reached the Final of the Essex County Cup. That was his fourth Isthmian season with Bowers, and he also played a big part in their North Division title win in 2019.

Before joining Bowers, he played for Barking, Wingate and Finchley and Billericay Town.

Forward Antonio Dembele, has most recently been with Beaconsfield Town, and prior to that played fopr Harrow Borough and Hartley Wintney.

He started the 22-23 season at Tooting & Mitcham United, making five appearances, and then moved on to Bedfont Sports. He was at Pitching In Isthmian South Central champions Bracknell Town for part of the 21-22 season, before moving across to the Southern Premier to play for Harrow Borough, who he left at the end of that campaign. He has also turned out for Thatcham Town, Camberley Town, Ascot United, Banstead Athletic and Leatherhead, after spending time with AFC Wimbledon.

Centre back Chama Torsiello has been with Sittingbourne this season, playing twice. He previously spent time with Harrow Borough, where he captained the Under 23 side, and has also played for Hitchin Town at youth level, Dunmow Town and Broadfields United.
