Twice Lanced
Etienne Frimpong and Harry Heath are new at Lancing
Lancing have signed Etienne Frimpong and Harry Heath.
Etienne, a defender, started this season at Whitehawk, but doesn't seem to have played for the Hawks. More recently he has played seven times for SCFL side Saltdean United.
He might also be familiar to you for his very brief spell at Chichester City, one appearance during the 22-23 campaign. He was previously a Worthing player, turning out for their youth and Under 19 sides- playing eighteen times and scoring five goals during the 22-23 campaign. Last season he was in the Southern Combination Football League Premier with Shoreham, and made twenty appearances.
Forward Harry will be rather well known to Lancers fans, as he only left the club in February to sign for Littlehampton Town. He made five appearances for the Golds, and has recently been playing for Alfold.
Harry joined the Lancers from nearby Shoreham in the summer of 2023, and scored five goals in his twenty five appearances. He had a fine 2022-23, scoring twenty seven goals as Shoreham gained promotion back to Step Five- including five in one match as his side defeated Wick back in January 2023. At one point he went on a run which saw him score thirteen goals in just six matches. He has also played for Newhaven, and isn't confined to playing through the middle- he has also been utilised on the wing and as a number ten. He previously scored rather regularly for Steyning Town and Southwick.
