A club statement explains:
'We are thrilled to announce that Deal Town Football Club and Deal Town Rangers are officially joining forces to become one unified club—Deal Town Football Club. This merger marks a new chapter for our community, bringing together the rich histories, passionate supporters, and talented players from both clubs.
By bringing our two clubs together under the unified Deal Town Football Club name, we’re not just combining resources—we’re uniting the community, from our youngest aspiring players to our seasoned supporters.
This merger is the result of a tremendous amount of dedication and hard work from both clubs. For years, Deal Town Football Club and Deal Town Rangers have been pillars of the community in Deal, each playing a critical role in bringing people together around a shared love of the game. By coming together, we’re honoring that legacy and building an even stronger foundation for the future.'
Town finished in eighth place in Pitching In Isthmian South East last season, whilst Rangers senior side was winning the Canterbury and District Football League. Both sides have an extensive youth setup- indeed Rangers operate thirty two sides in total.
