Two more for Bowers
Montrell Deslandes returns, whilst Henry Douglas is new at Bowers and Pitsea
Bowers and Pitsea have announced the return to the club of Montrell Deslandes, and the arrival of Henry Douglas.
Midfielder Montrell came through the youth ranks at Whitstable Town, playing reserve team football before graduating to the first team squad, making fifteen appearances during the 21-22 season. He started the 22-23 season with Margate, where he played twenty four times and scored twice, before moving to Essex to sign for Bowers for the first time, where he added another thirteen appearances and one goal. He started last season at the Len Salmon, and made five appearances before heading to Phoenix Sports, but he played only twice before heading back to Essex and signing for Concord Rangers. He played fifteen times for the Beachboys.
Henry Douglas arrives from Phoenix Sports. The full back made thirty nine appearances for Pitching In South East side Sports last season, and has spent rather a long time at the Mayplace Ground- indeed he has been a mainstay of their side since the 2019-20 campaign. He was their second longest serving player.
