Two new Bees

Basildon United announced a pair of new arrivals on Friday evening.

Reon Smith-Kouassi, a forward, comes in on loan from Leyton Orient. Reon has been playing Under 18 football for the O's, and has spent a little time in our Premier Division this season, playing once whilst on loan at Potters Bar Town. He has also had a loan spell at Hitchin Town in Pitching In Southern Premier Central, and, more recently, had a loan spell at Grays Athletic, playing ten times with two goals. 

He will also be familiar to Canvey Island fans, as he played nine times for the Gulls last season. 

Midfielder Michael Osei-Shaahene also signs on. You might remember Michael from his time with Witham Town, for whom he played twenty six times during 2018-19, but he also played for Walthamstow during their Southern League spell. He spent some time with Glebe in the SCEFL last season, and amongst his other clubs are Hullbridge Sports, Saffron Walden Town and Barking.
