Uxbridge go third on South Central Tuesday
Only one match survived- but it saw Uxbridge pick up what may be an important three points
We had only one match in Pitching In Isthmian South Central following a Hanworth Villa postponement, and it saw South Park Reigate welcome play off chasing Uxbridge.
Uxbridge had only one defeat from ten- and that against the leaders- whilst the Sparks had dropped into the bottom four after a run of only three wins from ten, but each of those wins- indeed all of their best performances of the season- had come on their own patch, so they had hope.
Visiting striker George Moore has been in super form of late, and he made the breakthrough after only nine minutes, his twelfth goal of the season- eight of them arriving in his last five league matches. Seventeen minutes from time, Moore struck again, his thirteenth certainly unlucky for the Sparks- and that was how it ended, with Uxbridge up to third and the red army delighted.
South Park are one point from safety, but still have a game in hand over the two sides immediately above them.
